I'd just like to say huge thanks to the OP for such an incredible write-up. I just bought an SA2200 myself and your post went a long way in swaying my decision to make the effort to get my hands on for so I could try it out for myself. Fwiw, I bought it in brown sunburst and it actually appears to be the lesser-spotted brown sunburst finish! In saying that, energy saving lightbulbs aren't great so I'll need to wait and see how it looks tomorrow during daylight. It looked like it was brown sunburst in the shop so I'm 99% sure it is in fact, brown sunburst. Anyway, finish colour aside, it looks great, feels great and it sounds great.
