Hi Guys :
I know there are members in this Forum who are StyleMagic YA and/or MidiWorks YA experts.
I would be very grateful for their advice.
It is my fervent wish to end the editing tasks of XGWorks after more than 20 years. I still need XGW for midi recording though.
XGW does not read SFF2 styles. Conversion to SFF1 is not an option for me and my new SX720.
I received both progs last Friday ( Jan 3, 2025 - latest versions ) but I have to admit, feeling ashamed, I am not capable to install one of the above mentioned progs on my pc's.
It is what it is.
The result : I cannot open any of these progs at all.
Only a white surface of approx. 1 second is shown on the screen of my pc and disappears immediately.
Also my installation of a dongle is a drama ... in other words my knowledge here is 0.
Both programs cannot work without a dongle or a USB pen-drive.
I would love to find a video ( on Youtube e.g. ) showing me the full win ( step by step ) installation of one of these programs ( if available of course ). It is absolutely not my intention to give up ...
Thanks for your attention, Jeff
