If that's true about the Osmose, then it means all synths sell in extremely low numbers.

But this list looks suss, to me.

There's no way the cheaper, and now quite old synths are in the top grossing synths - there's plenty of them in the second hand market:

eg:
Kord Minilogue XD
and
Behringer Model D
and
Roland TR-8S (not even a remote chance this is in the top 20 grossing synths of 2024)

and the biggest mystery... to me:
Native Instruments Machine + (barely qualifies as a synth) up against the new standalone Ableton Push with MPE support? Don't think so. That thing is selling like hotcakes amongst "producer" types who FAR outnumber mere synth players.
Yup, maybe in Switzerland, but certainly not here; Not even counting arrangers ( I realize arrangers aren't part of his equation) by far, our best selling pro-keys categories here (we divide by home keys and pro keys) are Yamaha stage pianos (followed closely by casio stage pianos)... they account for almost 80% of our 'pro keys category'. And what's left? CK88, Modx8.. we used to sell a lot of Stage2 and Stage 3, but the Stage 4 is so pricey (nearly $8k) that sales for Nord stage have plummeted here.

Yeah, we sell a lot of Maschine annually; but again, stage piano sales *dwarf* even that number.

Behringer is off our list completely; left the local Canadian market in 2020 (when Covid hit, yup)

They *have* come back to a couple of store chains in Canada (in 2024), but we won't carry them again until they have a repair centre that's less than 2000km away.
It's a shame, we sold a lot of their products, especially mixers, PA speakers, and "re-issue" synths (you know what I mean by that)
