As far as I am aware the CG-40MA is an all-laminate guitar, as are most of the budget-end classical guitars.
The main thing to check when buying something like this is the neck. These guitars have no truss rod and if not cared for properly the neck can bow, resulting in a higher action, especially towards the centre of the neck.
Is there any particular reason you went with a classical guitar for your daughter to learn on? The strings are easier on the fingers but that is not always a good thing, depending on where you want to go with it.
