I've touched upon this topic a while back in relation to my old Montage8, but now with my newer Montage M8x I have renewed my queries, as I have discovered some interesting anomalies which I have no answer for.
But rather than waste my effort detailing it to most folk, who it isn't relevant to, I just want to ask firstly one simple question, as last time I had very little response to my queries in relation to this.
Is there anyone out there who use the 4 audio outputs of the Montage for surround, with the assignable outputs being ambience?
I mean NOT separate instruments being split in performance/separate headphone mix etc.
I'm talking here about feeding the rear channels of surround reverb impulse responses only, to the assignable for rear monitors in a room.
