I also feels the same cons of Genos2. Internal memory EMMC are decreased significantly 58GB to 15GB. The polyphony is limited, so not too able to create too complex tracks, and limited polyphony makes Genos2 still MIDI 1.0 which only have 16 song track, doesn't support MIDI 2.0, which MIDI 2.0 is latest standard. Genos2 also still have older entry level 1GHz CPU. Additionally, This also doesn't support multivoices trigerring, which a program change (#MSB-LSB-PGM) can add with 2 or more voices, both each voice has different samples, or both voice has same samples but some voice have slightly variated. Try this on a entry level Indian keyboard such as PSR-I400. On data list source, (#000-000-010) can be 2 of different voices, such as Bells and GM/XG Vibraphone. Also the MM6, for example (#000-119-026) can be 2 different guitar voices such as Live!DynaSteelGuitar and UnplugReversible. Also, the Genos2 also doesn't have world music such as Arabic, Chinese, Indian, Vietnam, and Indonesian; to covers all musicians over the world. The Genos2 also have older WiFi standard (802.11a/b/g/n 2.4GHz only),

so both newer WiFi5+ adaptor or converter keep cannot detect WiFi in Genos2. It forced you to downgrade to single band older WiFi stands such as 802.11g 2.4GHz WiFi3. The newer device use WiFi5+, that it should became user needs, for example WiFi6 802.11ax. WiFi5+ newer has faster connection, compatible with most devices, and improved stability also lowing the latency. Also, Genos2 should open source, not closed. Genos2 should can be run in Windows 11 by collaborating with Microsoft or other professional PC brands, with some advanced PC specs such as SSD, biggest RAM, great CPU and VGA RAM.
Also it cannot installed with SSD like Tyros can be upgraded with HDDs. SSD is more faster than HDD, 10x more. It can load music files shortly without lag.
In Indonesia, Genos1 that have IDR 50 milions, Genos2 costs Rp 90-100 milions. It costs has overpriced, but lacks of features that user needed. So, Genos2 maybe as "Genos2 Lite" if Yamaha Corporation that headed in Japan wouldn't answered and addressed the user needs to Genos2 since speculations on mid 2022, but not responded in 2023. Maybe, Yamaha (as of October 2023) have developing features such as Ambient!Drums/Percussion and Style Dynamics Control. But why not Yamaha add the features below by user needs to Genos2? I hope Yamaha should upgrade this by firmwares, or Yamaha can revised the Genos2 hardware by adding additional R&D team member(s).
