Hello!
Writing from Canada here.
I am interested in Sound Synthesis and Music Composition, although the first one often takes time from the second! More precisely, one thing of interest is how Sound Synthesis methods have evolved in time.
I usually explore various Synthesis Methods, including FM with my Kurzweil K2500XS with KDFX. This puts me right there in the room, back in time, with the original discoverer or the original sound designers. It's fun.
The longevity of FM and its iterations, up to the FS1R and now the Montage M, and the seminal Yamaha VL1 technology for Physical Modeling is what made me stumble on this forum via a web search.
