I considered several options for attachment of STrak and I hope a magnet doesn't damage the unit. Smoke detectors use this type deal.
Why did Yamaha name this thing SeqTrak? Most people don't like the name so I wonder did they survey the name?
Is it supposed to mean Sequencer & Track machine combined? Who knows? They spelled Trak incorrectly if so.
I tested the unit mounted in this position and it was much easier to interact with, no sliding or falling even with button combinations I can perform some with a single hand.
I have still never figured out how to return to default non-project mode. There's nothing in the material how to revert the unit back to call it rompler only mode. It seems like once you enter project mode it there for good. Rebooting just goes back to where you left off.
Only after I reset it back to factory setting did it go back to standard mode. The app did nothing either. Yamaha needs to explain or fix how to return it to default mode like when first turned on. Pressing "knob 1" and "project" goes through some modes but never seems to go back to default. It needs to cleaning up for example all the lights return to a standard staring position when returning to default. When i see a bunch of random lights and different colors it's telling me that I'm not in the standard staring position o Kansas either. Oh yeah, it needs "Panic Button" or "Return to Kansas" escape.
