Thanks again....Yes I am considering buying an FSX keybed and "transplanting" it into the MODX....They are the same physical dimensions and with the same connection points, just not sure of the MODX front lip and whether the FSX 'board would fit under it, with the fulcrum point being a little further back.I can get one for $900 (AUD) about $600 (USD) , so just need to decide if it's worth it. New Montage M7 here is around $4.5kThe FSX is definitely on a league of its own.If I can ask, since you seem to have both, is the FSX quieter as far as "bottoming out thump" and better for playing piano parts?
Best keybed feel since the XP-60 I had back in 1998. Quiet and very good for piano parts.
There are people out there who really hate the MODX keybed, but really it's not bad at all. I am a bit picky on keybeds (Can't stand Arturia's essential series for example) but I find MODXs keybed totally playable. It's not FSX but no serious complaints here.
