I've always been tempted by the MODX series, but several facts held me off. One of them is the screen, that apparently cannot be dimmed. I'm not even sure if the buttons can be, which is a huge issue on the CK88 that I recently ordered but almost definitely will send back.
I'd only consider the MODX series if I could put up screen dimmer foil or something on top of the touch screen, but I'm not sure if it's still possible to use the device by pressing buttons alone? (since the touch screen likely won't work anymore with the foil on it)
