Interesting that there is an option for this now.
Playing the ACMP section with the style stopped was something I was doing often on my older arrangers, starting with my very first one (PSS-480). It usually plays the voices from the chord tracks (I was always playing fingered chords) and the actual sounds depended on the style. It was usually quite rich and nice sounding.
I try to recreate the same thing more or less now on the synth, splitting the keyboard, assigning voices to the left part and changing the pitch if needed. It's definitely more work but still worth it!
