Yes I think you are right.
The lack of Yamaha even reply8ng or at least showing that they acknowledge issues and will work towards addressing the iissues is clear sight they don't care.
I have been a member of the Headrush forum as beta tester and u have had direct response regarding a post which clarified what I had misunderstood in the use of their product. That response builds customer confidence and helps build brand loyalty.
I'm considering moving my SG on and going back to PRS even though it will be an older used example. It's a pity as I like the Yamaha brand but I shouldn't have had 2 high frets and issues with a poor cut nut on a £2000 new guitar.
I like it's sound and playability apart from tuning issues now the frets have been sorted but am still going to have to spend more getting the nut sorted which 3 different luthier now have not sorted out. 4 if you count the shop who sold it new to me.
As I live in a rural area I'm next faced with having to travel 2 hours each way to a very well regarded Luithier and a repeat journey of the same distance the following weekend.
