I recently bought a Yamaha MODX and it's awesome I love it. But it has a problem, the piano sounds are so weak and weird.
I also have a Yamaha ARIUS and it has such a beautiful piano sound.

It depends what you mean by "weak" and "weird". Can you be more specific, or make an audio example?

For "weak", my first thought is the velocity range. Try to change the velocity curve to SOFT in the system settings, and hit the keys at different velocities. Is "weak" somehow related to velocity?

For "weird", my first thought is that the MODX presets tend to contain way too much reverb, which I guess is not the case on the Arius series. Beyond that, I would assume that the Arius piano sounds are very similar to the MODX piano sounds.
